Rural Organization for All round Development ROAD) organized a MEDP on “Tie Dyeing “ NABARD.s sponsored in Gerua VCDC under Bechimari Development block of Udalguri District Assam. The training covered total 30 nos interested matured SHGs members from different 10nos SHGs locally. The training had been running for long 15th days the training covered different agenda on this training. The training successfully completes the programme theory and practical. The trainees feedback was very good they also request to NABARD another training on this topic because the training was short which don’t covered all technical part. But 95% of the total trainees are engaged and established a small scale traditional hand loom unit. Now they start local product Dakhana, Arnai,Gamocha,Sadar Mekhela and Bodo local traditional fashion dress on their local demand. Already we supported all SHGs credit linkage on their service area Bank for grow their unit.   Tie dyeing, a resident of Simalubari village in Gerua VCDC, had always been interested in handloom weaving. However, due to the lack of financial resources and proper training, she had never pursued it as a full-time profession. That is until she heard about the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development's (NABARD) Micro Enterprise Development Programme (MEDP) in their village. Page-1   With the help of NABARD, Tie dyeing received proper training in handloom weaving techniques and was provided with training support  to start Julikha Baglari own handloom business. She purchased new equipment, raw materials, and hired a few skilled employees to help her in the production process through bank support of Rowta AGV bank. Initially, Tie dyeing business struggled to gain momentum, but with her persistence and hard work, she was able to come up with unique designs and cater to the preferences of her customers. Soon enough, her handloom products started gaining popularity, and her business began to prosper. Already we give idea to her unit to bossiness on online trough Instagram and Face book page. They find good response on this system. Now they informed us their Yearly Business aprox  9.0L to 15.0L and their full time 5nos and 5nos part time worker available.   Page-2   As her business grew, Tie Dyeing was able to provide employment opportunities to many individuals from her village. Today, her handloom products are not only popular in the local market but also in other parts of the state. Tie Drying’s success story is not only an inspiration to women in her village but serves as a shining example of how NABARD's initiatives can transform rural life. With proper guidance and support, individuals like Tie Dyeing can achieve their dreams and goals, and contribute towards the growth and development of their communities.

Rural Organization for All Round Development (ROAD) had successfully implemented SHGs digitization project E-SHAKTI Phase IV in Dalgaon Siyalmari Development Block and Bechimari Development Block under Darrang District of Assam supported by NABARD. We requited 130nos Animator against 30nos SHGs under this project In this connection, Mrs Jahanara Begum resident of Vill: siyalmari GP: Kallyan under Dalgaon Sialmari Development Block. She digitized 30nos SHGs and also a member of SHGs which named Jeuti SHGs. She maintained her SHG started a poultry farm and they are gainer. They are now profited and they stared goatery farming with it integrated farming in this area. Now they are model SHG in this Block. The training support provided under this project have enabled the SHG members to go digital and streamline their operations. They are now using mobile banking, online payments, and digital record-keeping tools to manage their finances and business activities. The benefits of digitization have been many for the SHG members. They now have better access to credit facilities, which has allowed them to expand their farming activities and increase their income. They have also been able to improve their market linkages and sell their produce at better prices.the SHG’s members are engaged traditional Handloom and weaving . In this regard the representive of the SHG Jahanara Begum participate in celebration of NABARD foundation day at RO Office Guwahati 06 and different exhibition programme. Overall, the digitalization of their SHG under the Eshakti project has been a game-changer for Jahanara Begum and her group, and it has set them on the path to greater success and prosperity.
